Witcher Way Lakehouse Rental

Rental of the lakehouse is available on a weekly basis from June to mid-September. Change over day is Saturday with some flexibility 

 

We prefer to rent for the week. Weekends are only offered on a discretionary basis two weeks prior to the date if the house is not already booked for the week.
Weekends are avalible pre and post season with a 2 night minimum

 

2012 RATES:

 

In Season = June through mid-September,6/16/2012-9/7/2012
Early/Late Seasonal = Late March through May, and mid-September through November, Off Season: On request.

 

In Season Rates:

Weekly: $1750.00

 

Early Season Rates: March 1 thru June 9 

Weekly: $1250
June 9-15 2012 $1450.00

 

We accept check, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.  (addition fee added for credit card processing)We will email you to remind you that final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. No entry code will be issued until full payment is received.

 

Check in time: 4 p.m.      Check out time: 11 a.m. 


Security Deposit – $250

Cleaning Fee – $125

Reservation Deposit – 50% of Rental Rate with lease agreement

Balance Due – 30 days prior to arrival

10% tax on rental fee.

Directions from Northern Virginia (approximately 3 to 4 hours):

 

  1. Follow Rt. 29 South (bypass Warrenton) about 81 miles to Charlottesville.  Take Rt. 29 South toward Lynchburg (and probably Danville). Between 60 and 75 miles.

 

  1. Follow signs to take 460 West towards Roanoke.

 

  1. Stay on 460 for approximately 14 miles. Make a left onto New London Road (This is actually the second New London Rd. turn and is also Rt. # 811 – there is a big Sheetz gas station on the left corner at the traffic light) to Smith Mountain Lake (SML) – (there is a sign to SML on the right just before the turn.  From this point you will be driving on small country roads some of which will have signs directing you to SML or Huddleston; you are about 45 minutes from the house.) 

 

  1. Go about 5.2 miles make a right at the stop sign onto Wyatts Way (Rt. 24) – (Rt. 811 becomes Rt. 709 about halfway to Rt. 24 – remember on your return.)

 

  1. Travel about 4.3 miles on Wyatts Way (Rt. 24 West).  Turn left onto Lone Oak (Rt. 707).  See sign for SML.

 

  1. At end of road in about 1 mile, come to a stop sign and make a left onto Leesville Road (Rt. 43).

 

  1. Watch for signs for Huddleston (1.7 mi).  Turn right onto Smith Mountain Lake Parkway (Rt. 626). 

 

  1. Stay on SML Parkway/626 for 9.9 miles to White House.  (This is more of a “corner” than a town and there will be a little store and gas station on left before the turn you’re looking for.)  Take a left onto Rt. 608/Tolers Ferry Road just past the White House store and gas station on left. 

 

  1. Stay on 608 for 4.1 miles until you come to a right turn onto Cedar Key Lane.  Witcher Way is 1 mile down the road on the left side. It is #902, the driveway just past the power lines.
